Minneapolis Kids
Before and After School and Minneapolis Kids Jr SY 24-25 Registration opens at 7 am April 19 for current families and April 26 for new families.
Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in Minneapolis Kids Jr/High Five through 5th grade.
Summer programming is offered for youth entering grades K-7.
Care is available from 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday through Friday with Before and After-School, Minneapolis Kids Jr, Non-School Days and summer programs. (Components vary by site.)

Philosophy
The mission of Minneapolis Kids is to provide high quality child care services for families during periods when students are not involved in regular school programs. The program offers a safe, nurturing, educational, and recreational experience where children are encouraged to pursue interests, develop friendships, independence, and confidence.
Program Activities
Our programs are designed to offer youth opportunities for intellectual, physical, and social development and are structured to fit the developmental needs, cultural diversity, and unique characteristics of each child.
Youth take part in a wide variety of activities focusing on social/emotional learning, language and literacy, creativity and the arts, STEM, social sciences and health and physical education. There is also time available for youth to complete homework.
Youth voice is an integral part of planning as youth are encouraged to participate in designing and leading activities and have opportunities to contribute to the program-wide Youth Advisory Council.
Our spaces are well-equipped and take advantage of the school facilities including playgrounds and gyms.
