High-quality Early Learning

Our Mission

We provide high quality childcare for teen families. The Teen Parent Services Early Learning Centers help children learn and develop by providing a safe and nurturing environment within a Minneapolis Public School setting that is highly responsive to individual children and families’ needs. We strive to support, nurture and teach our children and their teenage parents. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children learn and have fun as they develop and grow.

Our Philosophy

We believe both our young parents and their children need positive relationships and consistent interactions and guidance to develop to their greatest potential. Our teaching staff is highly qualified and responsible for creating a caring, compassionate and stimulating environment that fits the developmental needs, cultural diversity and unique characteristics of each child.

Through the use of the Creative Curriculum, a focus on social/emotional development, the use of individual choice, and clearly articulated behavior expectations we establish an environment where each child can learn, grow and develop through positive experience. We believe that young children learn most effectively when they can explore a variety of materials and situations through play and hands-on experiences.
